Real Madrid target Ricardo Carvalho with Ruud van Nistelrooy offered shock Chelsea switch
We have renewed the Rumours and Transfers and from now on it will be known as The Reporter.
New changes:
You have the section divided into rumours and pieces of news. You can add photos to the news and rumours. If look carefully, each news that contains an image will have a small icon next to it referring to the image.
Classification of news and rumours:
The classification of news and rumours will be based on two criteria: number of votes and ancestry. The latest and the most voted news and rumours will be displayed on the top. If for example you observe that at the end of one week a news or rumour a lot of votes goes below another article with less votes it will be because it is not so new. In any case you can choose between looking at it in this order, only the latest, the most commented on or only news or rumours.
How do I upload a news?
Inside the section, on the left you will find the "Upload news" botton.
How do I upload a rumour?
Inside this section, on the left you will find the "Upload rumour" botton.
How do I vote for a news or a rumour?
You only have to click on the arrows beside it. The green one means you like it amd the red one (by now it is only available for the users with highest rank) means you don't like it.
Real Madrid target Ricardo Carvalho with Ruud van Nistelrooy offered shock Chelsea switch
PIECE OF NEWSI know this one is yersterday's... sorry
Real Madrid are ready to launch a January bid for Chelsea defender Ricardo Carvalho. The Spanish giants are desperate to strengthen after being rocked by injury to defender Pepe, who faces six months out with ruptured ligament in his right knee.
Madrid would be willing to offer Ruud van Nistelrooy in part-exchange, allowing the former Manchester United striker to provide cover at Stamford Bridge while Didier Drogba and Salomon Kalou are on international duty at the Africa Cup of Nations in January.
Bernabeu president Florentino Perez is an admirer of Carvalho and tried to sign him from Porto in 2004 before Chelsea blew them out of the water with a bid close to £20million.
The 31-year-old was prepared to leave Chelsea in the summer after a disappointing injury-interrupted season, but he has since established himself as John Terry's first-choice central defensive partner under Carlo Ancelotti.
However, Madrid are prepared to test the water after sporting director Jorge Valdano admitted the club were looking at potential signings.
'We appreciate that we have an opportunity to expand our staff in January in order to make the squad more comfortable and we will discuss this,' he said.
'We cannot rule it out but first we will have to look at the market.
'Pepe is irreplaceable. We have the assurance that in him we have a world class player and there is no one like him
