Mourinho claims Chelsea have history of frustration'
We have renewed the Rumours and Transfers and from now on it will be known as The Reporter.
New changes:
You have the section divided into rumours and pieces of news. You can add photos to the news and rumours. If look carefully, each news that contains an image will have a small icon next to it referring to the image.
Classification of news and rumours:
The classification of news and rumours will be based on two criteria: number of votes and ancestry. The latest and the most voted news and rumours will be displayed on the top. If for example you observe that at the end of one week a news or rumour a lot of votes goes below another article with less votes it will be because it is not so new. In any case you can choose between looking at it in this order, only the latest, the most commented on or only news or rumours.
How do I upload a news?
Inside the section, on the left you will find the "Upload news" botton.
How do I upload a rumour?
Inside this section, on the left you will find the "Upload rumour" botton.
How do I vote for a news or a rumour?
You only have to click on the arrows beside it. The green one means you like it amd the red one (by now it is only available for the users with highest rank) means you don't like it.
Mourinho claims Chelsea have history of frustration'
PIECE OF NEWSJose Mourinho has claimed that Chelsea are cursed in the Champions League and suffer from a “history of frustration” following their latest, dramatic exit from the competition.
Here you'll find what he comment on the post-match:
With Chelsea manager Carlo Ancelotti admitting that Inter Milan were the “better team”, Mourinho said it was a strange sensation for him to return to Stamford Bridge as the “enemy”.
There will also be concern at Chelsea that Uefa may impose an extra ban on Didier Drogba following his sending off, as he has a suspended two-match ban from last season.
Referring to Chelsea’s previous defeats — with him as manager and after him — Mourinho said: “I think that the team that lost a semi-final with a goal that was not a goal, lost a semi-final on penalties, lost a final on penalties, lost a semi-final in a game that they should have won 3-0 with three penalties this is the story of this club and the story of these players. This is history, one of frustration.
“Today, Inter were much better than Chelsea and that brought frustration to the players, great professionals and great people. My people will always be my people. But today I was the enemy. And the enemy won. That’s life. But it was difficult for me to come here as an enemy where my 'home’ is, here at Chelsea.”
Mourinho denied there was any sense of revenge, following his dismissal in 2007. “I’m not happy because my ex-players or Roman lost, or that Chelsea supporters go home sad,” he said. "I’m not happy about their unhappiness. But that’s life. Yesterday I exchanged a few SMSs with John Terry and I told him that one of us would be sad today.”
Asked whether Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich would ever fulfil his ambition to win the Champions League, Mourinho added: “Roman is a very intelligent person and, because of that, he’s not the same person today than he was one year ago, two years, three years, five years ago. Not the same person he was when he arrived in football. Probably he thought it would be easy when he arrived in football. It’s not easy. It’s difficult.”
Ancelotti will hope that Abramovich takes such a phlegmatic approach after failing at such an early stage of the competition. He denied he was under any greater pressure.
“Now we have two important competitions,” he said of the league and FA Cup. “We’re at the top of the list and want to win. We’ll have more pressure on the next few games, but we must be strong and have good control of our emotions. Maybe this defeat could be a very good motivation for the next few games.
“I think that Inter deserved to win this game. They are very solid. This is the reality. We have to stay focused now on the other competitions, but I think that we could have played better than this. We were never fully in control during the game."
