Mikel wants title back

Chelsea midfielder John Obi Mikel believes this season will see the greatest title fight yet and says the Blues are ready for it.

Dynamic midfielder Mikel has revealed that regaining the Premier League title will be the greatest challenge Chelsea have had to face and that the pain of surrendering the title to Manchester United still lingers at Stamford Bridge.

But the Nigerian believes that United won't be the only challengers this year: "It will be tough to win a trophy this year, I think this will be the toughest season Chelsea will have," said Mikel to This is London.
"Everywhere teams are spending money or getting better.

"But Chelsea are tough, too. We know we need to improve but the most important thing is that we know we can improve. We should not be afraid."

Mikel's comments come recently after Manchester City broke their transfer record signing Sergio Aguero for £38m as they hope to build a challenge for the Premier League.
