Lukaku deal 'hits snag'

Romelu Lukaku's dream move to Chelsea appears to have hit a snag after the Anderlecht striking sensation said he would not be presented this week.

Lukaku, 18, is one of Europe's hottest prospects after top-scoring in the Belgian league in the 2009-10 season and earning full international honours while still studying for his A-levels.

But, after undergoing a medical on Monday, it has gone quiet on his reported £18 million transfer, leading to speculation that there was a problem.

Lukaku appeared to confirm this, saying on his personal website that nothing would happen this week.

"Please note that no official presentation and no press conference will take place in Chelsea this week," he wrote, in English.

"More news will be given on the site in the coming days."
