Chelsea and Arsenal to fight for Deulofeu

Gerard Deulofeu, one of the brightest talents of La Masía, is on the radar of both Arsenal and Chelsea, two of the clubs who have been following him in the last few months. 'Deulo' is 17 years old, has a release clause for 3,5 million euros and 2 years left on his current deal although Barça want to renew it.

Various english media outlets have revealed that both Chelsea and Arsenal are prepared to pay the full amount of the release clause for the youngster, with the hope of tempting Deulofeu to start a new adventure abroad just like other products of the Masía youth system Cesc Fabregas and Ignasi Miquel.

Guardiola has already been playing Deulofeu in pre-season games, and he also played with the Spanish under 19 side in the European Cup this summer.
