Atletico Madrid’s Sergio Aguero has once again been linked to Chelsea, as the dimunitve Argentine continues to impress for the stuttering La Liga side.
'Kun' Aguero has long been targeted by the Blues and heads a list of new recruits wanted by the London club, including Everton midfielder Jack Rodwell and Inter playmaker Wesley Sneijder, according the News of the World.
The Premier League giants' endless spending spree is said to be fuelled by Roman Abramovich's burning desire to bring home the elusive UEFA Champions League trophy.
Aguero, who has scored an impressive 12 goals in 24 matches this season for Atleti, represents an attractive proposition to the Stamford Bridge club as they seek to cut a number of ageing stars such as Didier Drogba and Florent Malouda.
