Reports have emerged suggesting that the Chelsea star had enlisted the help of a £1,000 a day bodyguard to make sure he was not tempted by any girls he met in LA.
Knight, Bolton defender said:
'He didn't have a minder that I know of, unless it was me. Obviously I was on holiday with him but he was just a normal lad. He didn't get up to any mischief,' he said.
Knight added that he feels sorry for Cole because people don't want to seem to give him the chance of doing the right thing.
